FOOTBALL'S IN TOWN
To share the excitement of World Cup 2010, The Peak and the South African High Commission hosted diplomatic and corporate guests over a casual evening of football. Held at the Renaissance Kuala Lumpur, guests showed up in their football regalia and kicked back with friendly banter on their best moments of this global game. They were entertained with an exhibition of mesmerising dribbling, football-related trivia and a good flow of South African wines and Carlsberg beer. Welcoming the guests from the South African High Commission was Chargé d' Affaires André van de Venter and Minister for Economic Development and Tourism, Michael Mabuyakhulu.
