The 42nd HSBC-COBRA 10s is set to rev up interest in the sport. Mark Lean speaks with members of the Combined Old Boys Rugby Association (COBRA) organising committee about what fans and spectators alike can expect during the two-day sporting spectacular, taking place on 13 and 14 November this month.

There’s nothing like a rugby match to get the adrenalin pumping in any red-blooded man or boy. Its hard-knuckle appeal speaks to driven-to-win Alpha males with penchants for hard tackles on the field and the reward of a cool pint or three at the end. In Malaysia, the sport is promoted by the Combined Old Boys Rugby Association (COBRA), an organisation established in 1967.
