In The Depths Of Time

On your next dive trip in the crystal blue of the Maldives, consider the powerful RM032 diver’s watch served up by this generation’s maverick of horology, Richard Mille.

This 50mm automatic chronograph offers 50 hours of power reserve – 45 with the chronograph running – and is combined with an annual calendar, and date and month indicator.

To achieve its watertight case construction which gives it 30 atmospheres resistance, the piece is assembled over three layers, with a unidirectional bezel in line with ISO norms, preventing miscalculation of dive times.

This unique, curved tripartite case endures 830 operations in a nine-hour milling phase, while the components require up to 10 days of machining, which includes a battery of water resistance and quality control tests.

On the dial, a skeletonised design shows you its RMAC2 heart, fortified with 62 jewels and a free sprung balance with variable inertia, for near invincibility to shocks and knocks. As a result of its precedent-setting creation, the technical system unique to the RM032 is also awaiting a patent award.
