In the historical city that gave us Erasmus, the Bernoulli family, Friedrich Nietzsche, Carl Jung and, more recently, Roger Federer, Basel has never been wanting of an infinitely inventive streak to dazzle the world.
At BaselWorld this year, that spirit of invention was once again at large as a host of watchmakers descended upon the exhibition halls to showcase carefully wrought pieces of genius, each of which were crafted with exacting precision and, more importantly, infused with that spark of emotion to thrill the hearts of timepiece collectors and connoisseurs the world over.
